Holalemania on the podcast “Hamburg Aktuell – der Stadtnachrichten Podcast“

We are thrilled that our work at Holalemania was featured in a recent episode of the podcast “Hamburg Aktuell – the City News Podcast” by Radio Hamburg and Hamburg Zwei.

In the episode “470: Goodbye to the Nursing Crisis? Tackling the Skilled Labor Shortage with Holalemania,” our CEO Nicola Kreuzer speaks with host Clemens Benke about the challenges posed by the shortage of skilled nursing staff—and how international recruitment can be part of the solution.

Nursing professionals urgently needed – not just in Hamburg

The shortage of nursing staff is one of the biggest challenges facing the German healthcare system. In Hamburg, too, hospitals are desperately searching for qualified professionals.
At the same time, there are well-trained and motivated nursing professionals in other countries who would love to work in Germany—if they receive professional support in the process. This is exactly where Holalemania comes in.

Our approach: Responsible international recruitment

In the podcast, we discuss:

• how the international recruitment of nursing staff works in practice
• what steps are necessary before a nursing professional can work in Germany
• the role of language training, recognition procedures, and integration
• and why sustainable, fair placement is crucial for everyone involved

The interview also highlights that our work doesn’t end with placement. Integration, cultural support, and long-term collaboration with hospitals and healthcare professionals are central components of our approach.
