About us

We are an international team made up of 8 people. We come from Italy, Spain, (half) Cuba, Mexico, Colombia and Germany.

We have all experienced moving to a new country. We know what it’s like and what is required on a practical and emotional level.

We think that when you move to a new city, the best way to find happiness in the long term is to integrate yourself into the host country. And a good way of integrating is first of all to learn the language and develop a social network. That’s why at Holalemania we lead you towards this type of process and why we are always on hand for any questions or problems you may have, or if you simply want to meet up in a park and enjoy a barbecue together.

At Holalemania, we work as intermediaries and our company’s core activity is finding professional and specialised workers from all over Europe to place into German companies.

We know all of our candidates in person and we are in constant contact with each of them so we are able to build a relationship based on mutual trust. As a result, we know both before and after they arrive in Germany what is really important to our candidates and how we can best help them during the integration process.
Initially, we deliver this service by providing comprehensive help and close support from their country of origin. Afterwards, thanks to our team of native speakers on site, we look after everything to do with the move and their integration in Germany.
We are always on hand, for employers too, primarily when the foreign colleagues arrive and the team is established, preparing them to deal with the new situation in the best possible way. We are also there, however, in the more difficult situations that require an immediate and professional solution.

Our concept

Holalemania takes on the role of intermediary between German companies looking for employees from all over Europe and those who wish to move to Germany to find new job opportunities.

We specialise in the medical and health sector, and the majority of our clients are public hospitals and private clinics.

Our strength lies in the affinity we have to our candidates who we know in person and are in constant contact with. This means that we know what is really important to our candidates before they have even arrived in Germany, during the language course or after the move and thus how we can meet their needs.

We can only guarantee this type of service thanks to the comprehensive assistance and close support we provide from the country of origin. Afterwards, thanks to our team of native speakers on site, we look after everything to do with the move and their integration in Germany.

We are always on hand, for employers too, preparing the company’s team, for example, to welcome their new arrivals and deal with their new situation. We are also there, however, in case of any problems in the department or simply when they need linguistic support to communicate with their new employees.

Holalemania GmbH

Managing Director

NICOLA KREUZER

My zigzagging career path has taken me via France, Japan, sushi and marketing, and has made me a truly self-reliant individual.

Integrating Japanese sushi cooking and integrating midwives and nurses from southern Europe isn’t as different as you might think.

I’ve definitely achieved my professional objective of being able to work in a happy, team-focused, not-too-German working environment.

PATRICIA ISSAIADIS - Holalemania |

Personal Relations Manager

PATRICIA ISSAIADIS

I more or less fell into this start-up by accident and was hooked right off the bat.

I grew up bilingual as I had a Cuban mother and German father, and I’m well aware of the issues related to integration.
I travelled the world in my 19 years as an air hostess, and I didn’t just have to deal with minor problems.

During this time, I proved I had a real knack for people of all nations and mentalities, and was able to train and develop them.
I’m involved in all on-boarding processes, and look after third-party nationals in particular.

FLAVIA MATARRESE

I came to Germany by myself in my early 20s. Luckily my English was decent, as I didn’t have a clue about German. I passed my C1 Goethe Certificate a year later.

Then I started my degree in Hamburg, and was one of the university’s scholarship students. I have a BA in Russian and Romance studies. I will soon be finishing my Master’s degree in Multilingualism and Education.

I travel or go to concerts in my free time. I love far away places, cultures and languages, and spend a lot of my time working with them.

GIULIA ZENI

Thanks to my degree in Intercultural Conflict Management and moving to Berlin, when German was only Greek to her, I know exactly what it means to start a new life abroad. I particularly understand the feeling of being alone, so I love working with Holalemania, being able to provide companionship and support to ‘my’ midwives.

Alongside my work with Holalemania, I am a freelance language teacher and founder of ‘Speaktravelitalian’, my online school.
